Application
Proteins are one of the most important of all nutrients needed for growth, reproduction, lactation and daily physical activity. Amino Acids are the "building blocks" of proteins. H.B. 15 contains the essential amino acids lysine and methionine, which are recognized as especially vital for growth and tissue maintenance in horses. H.B. 15 also contains Vitamin B6, which aids in the metabolism of these amino acids.
Administer
Daily dosage: Adult horses - 1 oz.; foals and weanlings - 1/2 oz.; pregnant and mare horses - 2 oz.
Notes
Biotin, a sulfur containing B vitamin, is found naturally in green grass and in small quantities in wheat, barley, and oats. Unfortunately, the quantity in the normal daily ration may not be adequate or in an easily digestible form. H.B. 15 has been specially formulated to contain 20 mg of biotin/oz., which is widely recommended by farriers.
